This week saw the launch of The Yorkshire Lass.
She’s a bird, not a plane and she definitely doesn’t settle for half measures.
After the May launch of the successful first design and the constant requests that followed, Roseanna Hanson felt it appropriate to give The Yorkshire Man a partner in crime. The Yorkshire Man (Colour Edition) – Roseanna ‘Dozy’ Hanson
A few months ago a saw an amazing piece of artwork by a Barnsley artist called Roseanna ‘Dozy’ Hanson. Said artwork was a brilliant illustration of a new superhero called The Yorkshire Man. Depicted flying over the dales in a flat cap, spandex and white rose, the illustration came witht eh caption, ‘Feyting Crime Reyt…’

The illustration has been so popular that Sheffield artist t-shirts brand Yorkshire Tee has picked up the design and has now launched it as part of their Illies Clothing line.
You can view and order the t-shirt here. I ordered my t-shirt a week ago and I’m very pleased with it.
Rosanna is a brilliant photographer, artist, illustrator and musician, based between Barnsley and Norwich, where she attends university.
She has just launched her new artist website which features both her photography and illustration.
