A massive congratulations to local pip-up artist Fiona Stephenson, who has made her first ever DC Comics cover!!!
Her pin-up painting, done in the style of 40s and 50s art legend Gil Elvgren is featured on the cover of issure #1 of Bodies.
‘Bodies’, and new miniseries from DC imprint Vertigo, and starts this July. It features a murder mystery with a twist, written by Si Spencer (Judge Dredd, Vinyl Underground, Hellblazer), and features artists Phil Winslade, Tula Lotay, Meghan Hetrick and another Barnsley artist, Fiona’s partner and regular DC and 2000AD artist, Dean Ormston.
